Our Story
Em Daniels started Dear Pluto way back in 2010, when they took the lease on an old coach house in a Surry Hills laneway. Inspired by the multi-use spaces of Berlin and wanting to provide a cool, community-minded space, they launched a program of regular events including vintage sales, makers markets, film screenings, creative workshops and speed dating parties. After three successful years, the coach house exchanged hands, but Dear Pluto continues to hop around, throwing fun, intimate and accessible events at all our favourite venues and music festivals across Sydney and Melbourne.
